Djuyalgu Wakulda consists of Language activists, advocates, teachers, learners and speakers interested in a strength and solution-based approach to progressing Gathang within the Northern Birrbay community.

Membership is conditional based on intention, compliance with the Terms of Reference and includes members of the Gathang Language community only of Birrbay, Warrimay or Guringay bloodlines.
